Annual Meeting and Awards Luncheon March 21, 2019

Dear Members and Friends of the USDA Economists Group,

What a winter it has been! The shutdown postponed our Annual Meeting and Awards program, and the storm yesterday threatened the Ag Outlook Forum. So here are some quick updates:

Our Annual Meeting with awards and food will take place on Thursday, March 21, at noon in Room 107-A of the Whitten Building. Please join us to gather among fellow economists and congratulate award-winning colleagues. We expect to have Chief Economist Rob Johansson and perhaps a special guest to join us for this event.

Our dues, $20 for a calendar year, support all of our activities including the annual meeting, seminars/webinars, and other activities throughout the year. You can join or renew by giving cash or a check payable to USDA Economists Group to Treasurer Bill Janis or me. There is also a Paypal option on our website here: https://www.usdaeconomists.org/join

We had many members stop at our exhibit space on the first day of the Agricultural Outlook Forum. We will be there tomorrow, February, as well.
